    • What is OpenBux?

      • OpenBux is a website where you can earn money, just by clicking on advertisements. For advertisers it’s also a website that helps them attract new people to their website or allows people to discover their products.

    • How does it work?

      • Advertisers pay so that they can have their websites and products exposed, and then you earn for viewing that advertisements for a certain period of time. You can earn even more by referring people using your referral link. Or, in case you don't have enough time to refer others, you can also rent referrals that haven't been referred by anyone.

    • What are referrals?

      • Referrals are like your employees. They work for you, and you pay to keep them working. They are just like any other website affiliate, but instead of making profit only and exclusively for themselves, they also make profit to you each time they view an advertisement. Referrals are an important piece of the website, as you can multiply several times your revenue on OpenBux with them.

        Direct referrals are members that have registered through your referral link, or the ones that put you as a referral during the sign-up process.

        Rented referrals are referrals that you can rent for a certain period of time, for a certain price.

        The rent price for each referral per month is as follow:

        AutoPay:
        You can use AutoPay to automatically renew your active rented referrals. Once activated, AutoPay will add an extra day for each rented referral that clicked at that day. That way, if a rented referral clicks everyday, he will never expires. It does also save you work from manually renewing referrals every time.

        AutoPay is 15% cheaper than manually renewing.
        Remember that the renewing costs are deducted from your Rental Balance, if you don't have enough funds, it won't work.

        Recycling:
        If your rented referrals become inactive and does only click a few ads a day, you can recycle them and get a brand new in their place for just $0.10.

        Renewal:
        You can renew your rental referral for 30 days using this feature. The renewal price is the same as the rent price, except that you get discounts depending on what time you renew them, or if you choose to renew them by the AutoPay feature. Discounts are as follow:

    • What do I get for referring people?

      • Each time a referral of yours clicks on an advertisement you earn. This amount varies according to the membership type and the advertisement type:

    • How do I refer people to the site?

      • At your account page, at the banners menu, you can get your referral link, which you can use to refer people. When someone signs up on OpenBux through your referral link, he automatically turns into your referral. After that, for every ad your referral views, you earn money.

        You can also ask your friends and others to put your user-name on the "referral" field when they sign-up, that way they also become your referral.

    • Can I refer unlimited people?

      • There is a limit on the number of direct and rented referrals in your account. These limits vary accordingly to your membership type.

    • My rented referrals are inactive, what should I do?

      • If you have just bought a referral, try to wait some more time to be sure that they are inactive.

        After 15 days, if the referral stills inactive, he will be automatically replaced by a new one by our system. If you don't want to wait that long, you can also use the recycle option that does the same, for a small fee.

    • How much can I earn from viewing ads?

      • The amount you earn by viewing ads varies according to the advertisement type and your membership type.

    • Can I click more than one ad at the same time?

      • No. The main reason is that we really want you to view the advertisement content, so we need all of your attention focused to the ad being seen.

    • When do I get paid?

      • It's required that you have viewed at least a few ads each time you cashout, according to the table below:

        Also, on the first cashout you must have at least $2 in your main balance. On the next cashouts, this value is $5, then $7, then 10$ for every other cashout respectively.

    • How do I get paid?

      • Payments are made through PayPal or Payza, depending on which one you choose. The payments are instantly, that means that right after you complete the cash-out process, the money will be automatically transferred to your account. Be sure that you are able to accept payments, especially if you use PayPal.

    • I added money to my rental/advertiser balance, how long does it take to be credited into my account?

      • Usually, the money is automatically and instantly credited to your account right after you complete the payment. However, in a few cases, there is a chance that the payment processor is having technical issues, resulting in the fail of the purchase. If that's your case, please open a support-ticket with the following information:

        • Amount of credited money;
        • Credited Account type (rental or advertiser);
        • Payment Transaction ID or receipt;
    • Can other people in my household join?

      • Yes. However, only 1 user per IP is allowed each 24 hours, also, only 1 account per computer is permitted. That means that if a member on your house clicks on the advertisements one day, those advertisements will only be available again 24 hours later.

        If the other member and you do own different computers, and there is a separated Internet connection for each one, then there is no problem at all.

    • Can I have more than one account?

      • No. The advertisers pay so that different persons see their advertisements each day, and not the same several times.

    • What is PayPal and Payza?

      • These are the payment methods we use to pay, and also receive purchases from you. Both of them are free to join, with no fees. After you get your payment in one of these, you can withdraw your money to your bank account/credit card.

    • I lost my password, what should I do?

      • You can use this page to reset your password. A confirmation link will be sent to your email address, after accessing this link, your new password will be sent to you.

    Advertiser's FAQ

    • How does advertising work?

      • It's simple. Create a campaign, add the amount of views you want. Then, you just need to wait for visitors to come to your ad. You can manage and track the campaign statistics through our panel.

        Our plans start at $7 for 1000 visits.

    • How do I advertise?
      • After creating an account or logging in, go into the Advertisements menu and click at Add a New Campaign. Fill out the options and send the form. In a few hours the ad will be evaluated. From there, you can add views packages to your campaign. After activated, it will be shown at our ad section.

        Remember that you must have funds in your Rental Balance in order to buy views packages.

    • How many visits do I get to my site?

      • This depends on the amount of views/clicks you buy. Besides the views you bought, you will also receive some free bonus views, from our non-registered visitors.

    • Can I advertise any website I want?

      • Yes, except: adult websites; hate, violence or racist; selling or promoting illegal content; websites with scripts that break out the frame (frame breakers).

    • Is there a statistics/management panel?

      • Yes, but it's only available when using Advanced Advertising.

    • Why my ad has been suspended?

      • The most common causes are that your website was down for a certain period, or if we've found that there is a frame breaker or malicious script at your website source-code. In these cases, your ad will be suspended.

        If your ad does not fit any of the above cases, send us a support-ticket explaining the situation and we will try to help.
